Ruckus Wireless recently announced that Atlantic Aviation will use its Smart Wi-Fi products and services at 65 of fixed based operations.
All of the FBOs are located at general aviation airports throughout the United States. Atlantic Aviation conducts the largest network of FBOs, and the newest infrastructure will provide Wi-Fi to pilots, private aircraft users and visitors located at the new locations.
Atlantic aviation also provides concierge for private aircraft owners and pilots, as well as luggage handling, fueling and food service.
"Our clientele is demanding and expects both quality and speed when it comes to pretty much everything," said Joel Collins, project management office manager for Atlantic Aviation. "Wi-Fi is no different. Wi-Fi access is an essential part of using our operations - especially since private aircraft owners and their guests carry multiple wireless - only devices when they're at one of our locations."
Collins added that not having Wi-Fi was the No. 1 complaint Atlantic Aviation received over the past few years. He said that the company's new high-quality Wi-Fi infrastructure is more consistent than their old system and provides service outdoors and on runways.
Pilots' advancements in aviation will pave the way for future generations to come, and pilot insurance will provide stability for loved ones.
