MyGoFlight, a company focused on iPad innovations throughout the aviation community, is making its MyGoFlight iPad Checklist available at the AirVenture event in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
“The iPad is a very important tool being used before and during flight," said Charles Schneider, CEO of MyGoFlight. “It is being relied upon as a paper chart replacement and as an emergency backup system. As such, pilots need to be sure that their iPad is good to go where and when they need it."
The application is design in five checklist categories including before flight, pre-flight, in-flight, post-flight and iPad in-flight settings.
MyGoFlight is offering a seminar titled iPad Takes Flight covering a wide range of topics that utilize the iPad in aviation including hardware, accessories, settings and applications. The application will be offered for free at one of the two MyGoFlight booths at AirVenture or can be purchased online at MyGoFlight.com.
Zenith Aircraft recently announced its first-ever Engine Day at the Oshkosh event. The company will be on hand, along with other engine manufacturers, with numerous aircraft displaying various engines. Amongst them will be engine designs ranging from homemade to factory. The exhibit will debut on July 26.
Even pilots with the MyGoFlight checklist should consider pilot life insurance as a way to prepare no matter what the flying conditions are.
