New aircraft introduced off assembly line

After being announced at the National Business Aviation Association trade show in Orlando nearly five months ago, the New Citation Sovereign was recently released off the assembly line in Cessna's Wichita, Kansas factory. The new aircraft features cabin cooling, Garmin G5000 avionics with auto throttles and a new cabin management system, according to General Aviation News. It is also one of six new Cessna aircrafts that are expected to be available during the year. "This rollout today is proof of Cessna's commitment to bringing new products to customers in 2013, and demonstrates our strong investment in the future," said Kelly Reich, business leader for the New Citation Sovereign. "It's a short turn-around from just announcing this program last fall, to already having an aircraft rolling out the door and headed to the next stages of completion." Those looking forward to flying the aircraft will want to make sure they have pilot insurance just in case something goes wrong, giving the pilot and their family protection in the case of any unexpected circumstances.
