Organization unveils new phone app for pilots

Pilots will have a new iPhone app to download thanks to the IMC club.
The organization has launched a new tool aimed to keep pilots and aviation instructors connected and informed of the industry's latest happenings. The app also utilizes social networking cites to help professionals stay in contact.
IMC Clubs president Radek Wyrzykowski says the tool will help provide a much needed method for pilots to stay in contact with one another.
"It is so important that pilots and especially flight instructors today stay current in the events that affect the world of aviation."
There are other iPhone apps available to pilots. One is called Pilot My-Cast by Garmin. The tool allows pilots to obtain weather and flight planning information. The utilization of such tools can help increase safety.
