Business travel to increase in 2013

According to a recent survey conducted by Frequent Business Traveler magazine, business travel is expected to increase in 2013.
Of the business travelers surveyed, 33 percent said they plan on traveling more in 2013 when compared to 2012, while 50 percent indicated they planned on traveling more in 2013 compared to the last two years.
Jonathan Spira , Frequent Business Traveler magazine's editorial director, said that as business travel becomes more popular, business travelers will begin to demand more of what they want. In response, airlines and hotels will need to find efficient ways to cater to their needs.
The survey also showed that 83 percent of hotel guests and 77 percent of airline passengers said they had inconsistent experiences, showing hotels and airlines need to do more to ensure a reliable experience for travelers.
Certain airports have already began to cater to the needs of travelers. Houston Executive Airport is installing the world's largest fixed base operation canopy.
