Flying can pose certain safety risks to all those involved. From pilots and other aviation crew members to flight passengers, anyone who flies in an airplane is putting themselves in a potentially hazardous condition.
There are, however, certain safety precautions that can be made to make flying safer. Private aviation company Sentinet Jet recently announced its safety program has added data feeds to its process.
Sentient Jet says it's been working to enhance its feeds throughout the year. The data from the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Vitals Statistics database help provide the most up-to-date information for pilots before take off.
The updated database is just one enhancement Sentient's CEO Marty Guinoo says is being made to make flying safer.
"Sentient's commitment to safety, as evidenced by our long-term dedication to building an industry-leading program, is a cornerstone of our culture and reputation as an elite private jet company," saidGuinoo. "As such, we continue to evolve the program including the addition of new real-time data feeds that allow for the latest and most accurate data in the best interests of our clients."
Pilots should always keep safety in mind before they take off. Skipping a step on a checklist or attempting to fly in poor weather conditions puts themselves and anyone else in the plane or in the sky at risk.
