Airlines win excellence awards

Alaska Airlines and WestJet have both been awarded with Envision's Customer Excellence Award. Envision provides workplace coaching and team performance improvement solutions.
The award is given to customers who have successfully changed their businesses through superior customer service.
"Our 2010 award winners are especially noteworthy because their respective achievements all demonstrate the unique ability to 'think outside the box' and they have all built innovative business solutions utilizing Envision products to streamline their operations and improve their organizations ability to service their customers," said Envision CEO Rodney Kuhn.
Alaska Airlines was honored with the Enterprise Value Award. The airline company has used Envision solutions in a manner that allows half of their agents to work from home. WestJet received the Innovation Award for increased efficiency and effectiveness. The company has been using social media to interact with their customers.
Several other companies in other industries received recognition from Envision as well.
Great customer service is something that shouldn't go unnoticed. The level of customer service people receive can greatly influence a person's perception of a business and their likelihood of becoming a repeat customer.
