New updates to the Boynton Beach crash

Last week a single-engine plane crashed into the swampy refuge near Boynton Beach in Florida, with half of the jet stuck in the mud. Authorities have been searching for the bodies of the pilot and his passenger.
The Palm Beach Post reported that the priority of the investigation and excavation is to find the bodies that authorities believe are still in the plane. The plane was small, but the parts were too big to remove by airboat and the ground is too soft to wheel in a crane. Therefore, authorities are using a helicopter to remove the wreckage.
Boca News Now reported that the small plane was registered to Mann Aviation LLC and was operated by Air Orlando, a flight school based out of Orlando Executive Airport. The pilot of the plane was highly experienced, and the passenger has yet to be identified.
The source reported investigators are struggling to even reach the crash site, much less uncover any new information. The ground in the wildlife refuge is very soft and there is about a foot of water on top of the mud. Officials say the mud could be as deep as 12 to 17 feet. In an event of a crash it is important to have pilot insurance to help pay for wreckage and recovery costs.
