Proposed AD would affect 6,000 Continental engines

A new Airworthiness Directive could affect up to 6,000 Continental engines. Those engines with aftermarket PMA cylinders from Engine Components International would be affected by the AD. It is proposed the entire cylinder assemblies be replaced at a cost of about $1,700.
