Aviation groups expand facilities, fleets

Priester Aviation recently announced the addition of three new aircrafts to its private jet charter fleet. The new planes include the Gulfstream G550, Citation CJ4 and Pilatus PC-12 NG. Priester's aircraft management system and charter solution will support the new planes.
"Our clients are interested in newer aircraft that maximize the productivity of their specific travel profile while flying on the safest aircraft, which we believe these new additions demonstrate," said Andy Priester, president and COO of the company.
Pilots should also be focused on ensuring all available protections to themselves and their passengers. Purchasing pilot insurance can help protect against mishaps while flying.
Also reporting growth, Jet Aviation recently acquired the Enterprise Jet Center FBO at Hobby Airport in Houston, Texas. This expansion marks the 14th FBO to join the Jet Aviation global network of aircraft support and service facilities, and the sixth location in the United States.
"North America is a key market for Jet Aviation, and the acquisition of Enterprise Jet Center is an important step in our effort to expand our aircraft-service offerings to customers in the U.S.," said Dan Clare, Jet Aviation president.
