Having an artifact can be like holding the keys to the past. For some people, a historic plane unlocks ways to make flying safer. A Stinson Voyager will be the centerpiece in documentary covering the company Aviation Safety Resources. The plane is notable because it was equipped with features designed to help it land safely in the event of a major accident. Safety features have come a long way since the 1960s, when the aforementioned aircraft used wing attachments to land safely. Today, enhanced satellite and GPS units help pilots navigate. Dr. Louis Hanson, who purchased the plane and will be in the documentary said of Aviation Safety Resources,"It would provide pilots like me with a new sense of confidence and calm knowing that, in the face of unanticipated weather or mechanical failures, the system would ensure that pilots and passengers can be brought down safely and unharmed." Despite all the advancements, having term life insurance for pilots is a good idea to have at least while they are flying on a regular basis. Even the most prepared pilot can run into troubles in the sky.
