When people set out to look for a job, they are looking for a number of things. While of course a good paycheck and benefits are on everyone's list, room for growth and acceptance are also important.
Whether a person is looking to become a pilot or contribute in some other way to the aviation industry, it might be wise to check out US Airways. The airlines has been named one of the best 50 companies for Latinas to work in the country, according to Latina Style Magazine.
The magazine ranks a number of companies based on factors such as the availability of mentoring programs and employee benefits.
"We are honored to be named to the Latina Style 50," said human resources vice president Dan Pon. "Our commitment to diversity helps us attract top talent, provides opportunities for our 31,000 employees and helps us better serve the needs of our diverse customer base."
Being able to attract and maintain employees of Hispanic ancestry may become increasingly important to a business' success. Research shows that Hispanics are a fast-growing segment of the U.S. population.
