Pilots and their crew have a lot to keep in mind while flying passengers across the country. Aviation staff members can better perform their jobs and make passengers happy if they gain further insight into the guest experience.
It most likely doesn't come as a surprise to many working in the business that a number of passengers are afraid to fly. A survey conducted by Harris Interactive and sponsored by Case Logic highlights some other common traveler woes.
Among the findings, the survey shows that 75 percent of passengers said waiting increased anxiety and frustration levels. Nearly 70 percent said having to deal with security was the biggest factor behind their stress levels. Furthermore, more than 70 percent of travelers forgot to pack something.
"The survey is further proof that consumers are looking for ways to stay organized and minimize anxiety-related stress while traveling," says Case Logic global director of marketing Jeff Warde.
Experts recommend people take a few deep breaths and think positive thoughts to help reduce stress levels. Picturing oneself in a relaxing environment or listening to calm music can also help.
