Over the past Thanksgiving holiday weekend, Sporty’s Academy at Clermont County Airport in Ohio celebrated four first solos, two private pilot certifications, two commercial pilot certifications and a certified flight instructor certificate.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the number of milestones this week of the Thanksgiving holiday,” said Eric Radtke, Sporty’s Academy president and chief instructor. “The fact that so many of our customers and staff were able to participate in the cutting of the shirt tails and other celebrations made it that much more special and created a wonderful sense of community.”
Sporty's extended congratulations to Adam Theye, Bradley Bowermaster, James Tran and Matt Miller on first solo milestones as well as to private pilots Amir Sulaymonov and Ryan Lauderdale, and commercial pilots Tom Husted and Steven Meckstroth.
Radtke added that Sporty's is seeing high demand for pilot training and the company's utilization of Frasca devices is allowing students to progress training further than ever before when outside conditions are not favorable.
Earlier this year, Sporty's updated its Flying Aspen Evolution program by adding Evolution Synthetic Vision displayed on the PFD and MFD, helping thousands of general aviation pilots improve safety and navigate terrain
Pilot life insurance can be equally as important as purchasing equipment that will improve safety, as it will set up a financial plan in the unlikely case of an emergency.
