Volunteer pilot needed to transport birds to Belize

Lighthawk, a nonprofit environmental aviation group that aims to improve sustainability of major environmental issues in North and Central America, needs a volunteer pilot to fly to Central America. The organization also uses the aerial vantage point to monitor natural resources and reveal the effects of environmentally unsafe practices on nature.
Bev Gabe, Lighthawk spokesperson, told AVweb, "We have an urgent need to find a jet to transport some rare falcon chicks to Belize."
The birds need to be transported from a breeding facility in Sheridan, Wyoming, to Belize City in early June to be released into the wild.
A qualified pilot must have logged a minimum of 1,000 hours of flight time and his or her jet must be able to carry between 650 and 1,000 pounds of payload.
Any interested pilots should invest in pilot life insurance before volunteering their services to protect their family, should anything go wrong during the flight. Lighthawk's website advises pilots who would like to volunteer to review the safety updates provided by the Federal Aviation Administration and other aviation resources.
